Irene is the mother of twin boys who have autism.  She has been involved in fundraising for the Chicago Autism Academy and other autism organizations since 2007.  She currently works as a speech language pathologist in early intervention with children ages 0-3.  Irene believes that children and adults with autism can shine when given the opportunity and hopes that Twin Hearts can touch the lives of people with autism and their families in valuable ways.  Irene holds a Bachelor and Master’s of Health Science in Communication Disorders from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Chicago.
